Step 1: Check for eligibility, visit: https://www.va.gov/education/how-to-apply/

Step 2: If you are eligible, fill out blank VA application which can be found here (examples on bottom of page): https://www.vba.va.gov/pubs/forms/VBA-22-10272-ARE.pdf

Step 3: Sign up for a Minnesota Truck and Trailer School plan that meets your needs and pay in full.

Step 4: Successfully complete Minnesota Truck and Trailer School training and pass CDL test.

Step 5: Collect a certificate of completion and a copy of the invoice from Minnesota Truck and Trailer School.

Step 6: Submit your application to the VA for reimbursement. (Click the examples below.)
