Getting the Permit - Class A
PERMIT STUDY MATERIALS
- Download CDL Prep app from the App Store & Play Store. Practice tests that are very similar and helpful to get prepared for knowledge testing at the DMV.
- Read the CDL manual on our website. Sections to study – 2, 5, 6, and 10.
NExT STEPS
- Go to the DMV before 8 am at any DMV near you, no appointment needed as they are walk-in only.
- What to bring
- Drivers license
- Second form of ID (passport, birth certificate, or military ID)
- $20 cash when you pass
Once you have the permit processed and in your hand, you can go to a truck driving school! Contact us to set up an appointment and training!
